INTRODUCTION TO THE FRIENDS OF ST.MARY'S

St Mary’s is part of a Whittlesey ‘Team’ of churches:
St Andrew’s; St Thomas at Pondersbridge and Holy Trinity at Coates, which shares the Rector Nigel Whitehouse, Team Vicar Gill Stevens and Team Curate Mike Jones. St.Mary's Whittlesey is part of the Diocese of Ely. For more information about the Ely Diocese visit www.ely.anglican.org

The Friends of St Mary’s Church, Whittlesey is a charity formed in 1996 to raise funds for the building or fabric of St Mary’s preserving and enhancing the church for future generations.

Anyone can become a Friend. The subscription is £5 per person per calendar year.

Straw Bear Day
St Mary's Church will be open for rest, refreshment and tower tours available. Fabullous views across Fenland are available from the top of the tower. Opening subjiect to weather conditions.

Art Exhibition
Exhibition of local artists work, many varied media on show. Most of the work is available for purchase with 10% going to the Friends funds. Entrance:£2 per adult. Refreshments available.
